NEW BUS SERVICE TO LEBANON

The City of Lebanon in partnership with the City of Brownsville, the American Legion/Senior Center and the Assembly of God Church are excited to bring weekly bus service to town. Lebanon runs a public transportation service for area residents known as Linx. Lebanon’s Transportation and Senior Center Director Kindra Oliver is able to extend service to Brownsville thanks in part to House Bill 2017, Keep Oregon Moving, which made significant investment in transportation including transit services.

The plan is to begin service on June 21st, 2022. Service will be provided weekly on Tuesdays & Fridays. The two bus stop locations will be the American Legion/Senior Center at 339 N. Main Street and the Assembly of God Church at 313 Washburn Street. There will be five trips beginning at 7:10 a.m. and leaving Brownsville to Lebanon as late as 5:50 p.m. from the parking lot at the Assembly of God church. Riders will ride free of charge for the first year. Riders will be able to access rides to other locations once in Lebanon. Please visit the Brownsville City website at www.ci.brownsville.or.us/linx or the Lebanon City website at https://www.ci.lebanon.or.us/LINX for more information. Please spread the word!
