My father grew up in Brownsville and loved taking us to this park growing up. I was hoping to be able to bring him back to his roots and have a celebration of life here.
This is a Celebration of Life gathering with light food and refreshments. The actual time of the celebration is 2:00-8:00 PM with time needed on each end for set up and clean up. The guests will not all be present at the same time. The duration of the event is to accommodate work schedules and travel times for those coming from out of town. We are anticipating approximately 100-150 people coming to pay their respects for an hour or two, throughout the event.
Tribute to Fallen Soldiers and our 12th Annual Tribute to Fallen Soldiers Memorial Torch Motorcycle Ride is scheduled to honor the sacrifice and service of ARMY SGT TRAVIS MOOTHART. The Moothart family will meet our ride procession at the Brownsville Park - Stage / Grandstand area at 12:15 PM. The ceremony will conclude at 1:15 PM
The purpose is to gather members of this chapter of the organization from up and down the Willamette Valley to meet, socialize and have an eduactional program.
