Development of the GR-12 Well
The State of Oregon passed legislation a few years go that aims at curtailing water consumption by cities. The rule would basically prevent Brownsville from adding any new home. Council is working on developing an old water right to prevent this from happening or at least lessen the impacts.

Bi-Mart Willamette Country Music Festival
The City is working with County Staff and the Linn County Commissioners to reach some solutions for managed growth for the largest Country Music Festival in the Pacific Northwest!

McFarland Cascade
The City is working closely with McFarland Cascade. They are the logging operation on the west side of town. They are in the process of installing a log peeling operation. They will be making substantial improvements to the water distribution system and adding capacity to the wastewater collections system on that side of Brownsville!
